Health Fee, Why you have to pay it...
If you already have Health Insurance, you still are
required to pay the Health Fee. Here's Why: The State of
Florida requires that a health fee be paid by every student attending
classes on a state university campus. For more information, contact Student Health Services at
(407) 823-2097 or visit their website at
http://www.shs.ucf.edu.
This fee
provides funds for the following services: Student Health Center (medical clinic providing
qualified physicians and other medical professionals, x-ray service,
on-site laboratory, full pharmacy); Campus Wellness Center (free access to this
health/fitness facility); Health education services (classes and workshops,
REACH - Responsible Education and Action for Campus Health)
